Frank Ocean对父亲的诽谤诉讼进行回应

Frank Ocean Responds to Father’s Libel Lawsuit

Drama人生是什么样的呢？今年年初，Frank Ocean被他的父亲Calvin Cooksey以诽谤罪控告。

这高达14.5百万美金的诉讼案起源于去年夏天。Orlando的同性恋夜店枪击案后Frank Ocean在社交媒体Tumblr上写道：“我六岁的时候，和爸爸去一家餐厅吃饭。我亲耳听到我爸叫服务我们的变性服务员‘FAGGOT’。然后他把我拉出了餐馆，说我们不能被这样的服务员接待，她太脏了。”

此事一出，Frank Ocean的父亲立马回击，表示这一切都是Frank Ocean为了专辑<Blonde>热卖而故意设计的曝光伎俩。他还将力挺Frank Ocean的Tyler, the Creator 形容为恶魔崇拜者。

就在今日，Frank Ocean和他的律师团队就此事做出了回应。Frank Ocean表示他在社交媒体上写的话句句属实，并否认了他父亲的指控。与此同时，Frank Ocean要求法院撤销诉讼并要求他的父亲赔偿自己在这场官司中产生的所有费用。

Earlier this year, Frank Ocean was sued by his father Calvin Cooksey for libel. The $14.5 million defamation lawsuit was filed in response to a note Ocean posted last summer on his Tumblr following the Orlando nightclub shooting. “I was six years old when I heard my dad call our transgender waitress a faggot as he dragged me out a neighborhood diner saying we wouldn’t be served because she was dirty,” the note reads. In his lengthy complaint, Cooksey claimedthat Ocean “published these falsehoods” “for the financial success of Defendant's new album Blonde, and to ruin his father.” At one point, he also referred to Ocean’s association with “devil worshiper” Tyler, the Creator. Today, Ocean and his lawyers responded to Cooksey’s lawsuit, TMZ reports. 

In his answer to the complaint, obtained by Pitchfork, Ocean said his essay “speaks for itself” and asserts that everything he wrote is true. He denied the majority of his father’s allegations, saying they’re “statements of opinion, and thus not the proper subjects of a libel claim.” The answer also argues that the complaint is barred by applicable statutes of limitations. Ocean is asking the court to dismiss the lawsuit and order Cooksey to cover all of Ocean’s legal fees.

Mac De Marco近日发布了新单曲<This Old Dog>。这个将自己对Meth的迷恋毫无保留地写进歌中的音乐人再一次将自己的心赤裸裸地放进音乐里，只是这首歌与他平日“大道理”的风格有所不同，<This old dog>更像是音乐人在试图理解自己和很早被母亲踢出家门的陌生父亲的关系。

如果不是因为Mac父亲去年的那场重病， 他也许还是一个陌生人。在他的父亲去世后，Mac创造了这首充满复杂情绪的忧伤歌曲。

在接受Dazed采访时，Mac讲到，很多时候音乐并不是一句我爱你或者我恨你就可以简单概括的，我觉得大家是想通过音乐探索自己与他人之间的关系是什么样的，比如说我和我的父亲。

可以肯定的是，在<This Old Dog>这首歌曲里藏有更多的智慧与耐人寻味的人间冷暖。正如歌词“Carrying a name / Fall until my final day / Now who’s there left to blame?”所讲，在父亲离开后，他身上的那些坏习惯还能赖给谁呢？

The result is This Old Dog, easily De Marco’s most sober and serious collection of songs to date, and a touching attempt to come to terms with a father-son relationship that never got off the ground (DeMarco’s dad was kicked out of the family home by his mum when Mac was just five). For the record’s title, DeMarco wanted a “simple, loving sentiment” to tie this bundle of conflicting emotions together.

There are plenty more words to the wise on This Old Dog, but somehow the advice feels kinder, more forgiving, as if by thinking more deeply about his dad DeMarco was able to finally start owning his mistakes: “Carrying a name / Fall until my final day / Now who’s there left to blame?” he sings on brooding synth jam “On the Level”, begging the question – when his dad is gone, who will be left to hang his shortcomings on?

“You are so f**k special”大家对这句歌词肯定是十分熟悉的。演绎<creep>这首歌的Radiohead主唱Thom Yorke将为意大利著名导演Dario Argento的经典惊悚片<Suspiria>的新版本进行配乐。值得指出的是，这将是Thom Yorke第一次为电影制作音乐，他独特的假声和多种乐器的运用一定会为这部高潮连连的cult电影创造出更加极致的观影效果。电影原版本的配乐由前卫摇滚乐队Gobin制作。

Yorke早在2013年接受Dazed杂志采访时就说到自己非常喜欢remix音乐，享受从熟悉的旋律中创造出一些新玩意儿。这次配乐对他来说与其是一项工作，不如说是一种享受。亲爱的Yorke会给我们再次带来怎样的听觉盛宴呢？拭目以待了！

这部电影讲述以个在柏林的美国芭蕾舞学生加入了一个舞蹈工作室，竟发现了更多惊人阴险不为人知的秘密故事。漫长40年后的再次拍摄阵容强大，超杀女Chloë Moretz,/Tilda Swinton。Dakota Johnson等人领衔出演。据悉，电影将在今年年末上映，值得期待！！！

This will be the first time the Radiohead frontman has scored a film.

Luca Guadagnino’s remake of Dario Argento’s 1977 cult classic, Suspiria, just got a whole lot more interesting. Radiohead’s Thom Yorke will be scoring the film, hopefully bringing his signature falsetto and multi-instrumentalist genius to the iconic score. Despite bandmate Jonny Greenwood creating the music for Paul Thomas Anderson’s The Master and There Will be Blood, this will be the first time Yorke has scored a film. The original was scored by prog-rock band Goblin.

The film follows an American ballet student in Berlin who joins a dance company, only to discover that the dance academy is a front for something far more sinister. The remake – which conveniently comes 40 years after the original – stars Chloë Grace Moretz, Tilda Swinton and Dakota Johnson. OG Suspiria lead Jessica Harper will also appear in a secondary role.

In an interview with Dazed in 2013, Yorke talked about using his back catalogue as a jumping off point for new material. So perhaps he’s the ideal choice to create something fresh from the legendary soundtrack. “I love remixing because you can take something people already identify with and claim it for something else. You can actually spend your whole life going back and sampling yourself – but that would be a bit like masturbation.”

Guadagnino told Variety that working with Yorke was “a dream come true.” He continued: “Our goal is to make a movie that will be a disturbing and transforming experience: for this ambition, we could not find a better partner than Thom.”

Suspiria has recently wrapped filming and will be out later in 2017.
