S.T.D. presents MAELSTROM, a heavy-hitting producer spit forth from the dark techno caves of France. He pumps out driven, ground-shaking tracks each darker and dirtier than the last and delivers a dynamic live set that strings together the best rhythms and textures from Detroit techno and modern electro (mixed in with some secret French ingredients, they say).

MAELSTROM has releases on Boys Noise, Sound Pelligrino, and Dirty Bird, along with three killer tracks put out on ZONE over the past 18 months. He also put out a few tracks on Bromance through a collaboration with Louisahhh!!! Which he continues to develop. Lately, he’s been following both his nostalgia and futurism into unknown territories where retro-electro, punk-grunge and deep house all bump to the same dense heartbeat rhythm.

MAELSTROM will have support from epic STDJ's, EL'SE [FRA], LinFeng [CHN] and R3 [AUS]. So pop into Arkham for a magic dose of all things electronic and entrancing. We’ll all be in the zone for this one!

Maelstrom是当下法国Techno乐界的中坚力量，自2005年出道以来，以稳定高质的出品和现场表现虏获一众舞池欢心。本月月初刚刚发布最新线上EP“Discord”的Maelstrom持久调动肾上腺素的超强能力不减，而同Louisahhh!!!合作为新晋厂牌Bromance主理的第15辑又从虚幻世界跳将出来，一口气蹦到舞池，确是“Night Clubbing”之最劲代言。融合了经典底特律Techno之声和时髦电子元素，除此之外，Maelstrom还乐于加入法式的典雅和复杂，每一则单曲都有着精心细致的巧思和制作，满满都是充满诚意的Bass张力和交错的打击乐，煽动舞池迅速拥入热潮。 

职业生涯之初便在Dirty Bird、Sound Pellegrino、BNR Trax这些声誉不凡的厂牌轮换发片，而过去1年半则加入ZONE，与法国Techno老将The Hacker并肩作战，亦成为这个微型厂牌下的主力选手。 

时隔两年，Maelstrom将三度光临中国，3月29日在Arkham继续献演法兰西黑夜传奇。
