One of Great Britain’s recent electronic exports, Bondax are heading to the Middle Kingdom! Bondax (Adam Kaye and George Townsend) play an evocative mix of garage, indie, and other club music. Similar to fellow compatriots Disclosure, Adam and George have a grasp of music that belies their age, subsequently launching them to overnight success.
Bondax has been making music like a workhorse, releasing originals and remixes on a frequent basis to its more than 5 million followers on SoundCloud. Their sound is crafted by a symbiosis of pop and indie experimentalism, riding the recent craze for eclectic dance music.
Adam and George are sure contenders for Kings of Indie Dance when they’re touted under the same breath as artists like Discloure, Rudimental, and Flume. Despite only being on the scene for a couple years, Bondax has already collaborated with the likes of Snakehips, Darius, FKJ, Moon Boots, and AlunaGeorge.
Though they’re making music that’s miles from getting written about, the young duo have been playing plenty this summer festival season. Keep your eyes and ears open for Bondax’s Shanghai debut as they bring their dance grooves to Arkham.
