Dumbfoundead was smuggled into LA’s Koreatown at the tender age of three. Born in South America to Korean parents, it was on the streets of Los Angeles where he developed his ear for a beat and signature flow. He was introduced to hip hop as a pre-teen and quickly toured rap battles across the city, dropping out of high school to focus on music.

After building a strong web fanbase, becoming one of the first rappers to utilize the power of Youtube, the wordsmith took a half decade hiatus from the scene. He made his return in the 2015 OVO ‘King of the Dot - Blackout 5’ battle. Drake had high praise - ‘’For me a big thing is Dumbfoundead. I watched Dumbfoundead for years, man. I really like, I mean, it’s good to see him come back and just bless us with presence at this event is insane.”

In 2015 he also featured on the Keith Ape ‘It G Ma’ remix alongside A$AP Ferg, Father & Waka Flocka Fame and this year he has pushed on with lots of fresh solo material. He has also been curating one of LA’s most happening parties - Spamneggs, alongside Far East Movement & Tokimonsta. They have presented the likes of Mr. Carmack, Hoodboi, Anderson .Paak, ESTA, and Keith Ape.
